We have Coach Hop to thanks for this garbage.

2022. The bulletin board material is already there.

Y'all miss our vintage Tulane arrogance yet?

Perhaps we’ll have a competent FBS head coach by then.

Congratulations on the win.

"They had us in the first half, not gonna lie"

Dreaded it at 13-0, but then once that 2nd FG cut it to 13-6, it seemed like USM ran the prevent offense and just let the front 7 pin their ears back.

I miss these games. CFB has become boring af with ending so many good rivalry games...

He learned from Bower, but Bower would tack on 20+ points first and wait until the 3rd quarter, not 13 and the end of the 1st quarter.

Going for it on 4th-and-1 at midfield while up 2 scores early was dumber than a box of wet hammers. Just handed them the field position to cut the lead to 1 score and downhill from there.

Honest to goodness, I have no idea just what aspect of the game the Hopson is supposed to be good at. He sucks at literally everything. Bad decisions, fragile gameplans, pee-poor adjustments, crap team discipline, and very little fight in the face of adversity.

Except he got the 4th and 1 and they gave a terrible spot. The most surprising thing was that they didn't even review it when it was blatantly a first down on Abraham's reach.

The difference is Bower had great defenses that would continue to hold opponents from scoring.

You leave the balance of the game in the hands of the officials, and you’re going get what you deserve. Call a better play or just punt the damned thing & put your team in a much better position. He’s all super-aggressive when there’s no need to be, then he rolls over & plays dead when there’s legitimate urgency.

Hell, he calls a time out for every other damned thing. Call one there to coax the officials into taking another look at the spot.

Or, I don’t know, maybe make some competent adjustments so that particular ensuing score isn’t just the first of 30 unanswered points.

Bigfoot would be a championship coach if his bosses would’ve let him hire Art Briles.

Its not the goal line. It's where the ball was when Abraham was called down.

At 13-3, you pin Tulane back and force their relatively silent offense to drive 80 yards to get back in the game.
