RE: PSU fan - Ask me about Ricky Rahne

Their comments were RR was decent recruiter, motivator, didn't use players right, had a hard time in big games, and didn't see him as someone that could take PSU to the next level.
Sounds like the comments from many fan bases, VT especially.
Repeating:
The PSU offense lost star QB Trace McSorley, backup QB Tommy Stevens, 2018 leading rusher Miles Sanders, O-linemen Connor McGovern and Ryan Bates, and wideout Juwan Johnson.
The offense did remarkably well for that level of rebuilding.
That "next level" is a pretty high bar for a program whose offense was rebuilding and still managed to be top ten in 2019.

Penn State fans, in general, believe they have an elite level program. When they don't win National Titles, it's the coaches fault. Right now, the Coordinator gets the blame....another year and Franklin will be on the hotseat.

Yeah, that's actually a glowing recommendation from the Happy Valley cult. If you'd spent any amount of time with them you'd know a) they get pissy bc they're not mentioned in the same breath as the LSUs and Alabamas of the world b) they eventually hate every coach not named Paterno.

I take that back they hated Jay Paterno, too.
