But what if a Men's team in, say, Winston-Salem, offered you $100 a game (plus travel costs) to come play for them? Would you turn it down in the name of "not quitting", and would your teammates be mad at you in that instance?

Apple's to oranges. If that was the case, he'd have already signed on in Japan. Let's not kid ourselves here we both know he didn't like the coach, results have been terrible, he didn't feel like he was developing so he bolted. If it was truly for money, he wouldn't be in the portal, as others have pointed out it really does nothing in terms of leverage.

Might as well see if any P5's bite before committing to anything. You're right that he hasn't been offered anything YET. But it's not entirely apples to oranges. He's playing for "free" right now (unless he puts a lot of value on his education).

But lets not dodge the question. Would you sign with the Winston-Salem team? I'm very curious now.

His education definitely has a value. I'm not dodging the question, I'm not answering because it makes zero sense in this situation.

Well you're no fun. I wasn't even wondering in the context of this situation anymore. Just trying to have a little fun here in the midst of a rough season and with more than a month to go until Baseball.

It's what I do best. Would you rather answer the question OR discuss the Patriots' institutional cheating? Seems like these are now your 2 least favorite subjects.

Kai signed with a Japanese pro team, according to his Instagram account. I can’t tell which one really, aside from the fact they’re yellow.

My biggest concern for the program moving foward is Apathy

Ive been a fan since my grandfather started taking me to games at age 11.
This is the first year where I just really struggle with caring about the program

I cannot afford season tickets like i have in the past as I am now a father of 2 boys in preschool.

Im not going to pay $13/month to watch this team on a subpar service.

I dont feel like im the only one in this boat.

If it wasnt for this board my interest level would be 0

I agree with this and it has been trending that way for good while now even before CB got the job. Keatts was winning games and the excitement was just not there in the city for UNCW basketball. Maybe its the times we live in,the variety of things to do in Wilmington, students looking their phones the entire game or something else all together but it ain't there.

We've had this conversation before, you just are not correct about the KK era. Excitement WAS there, donations were up, local and regional attention. CB era has been the opposite

We have been here before but what I am saying is that you would think with a team winning games it would be a big deal here and it's just not. I understand it ticked up a little bit but nothing like the Wainwright/Brownell era and really not even close to that. I don't see it coming back even when they start to win again. College attendance is down across the board and I think it will not go up again anytime soon- if ever.
CB has a ways to go to have a decent team that can win games at Trask on a regular basis. Getting people out to games is not an easy thing to do these days.
