Towson
So league play begins Saturday at Towson ...
NU enters with a 6-6 record.
If Murphy and/or Eboigboden are both out, I doubt we win this game.
As always, the key in beating Towson is keep them off the boards and force them to shoot from the outside.

RE: Towson
Great effort win today. I doubt we will have pretty wins this year as we are simply not built that way so this is the way it needs to be. +8 on the backboard and 5 players with 5+ rebounds. Held Towson to < 40% and kept turnovers at least moderately reasonable (14). Also, good contributions on offense with 4 players with 8+ points. On to Madison.
Greg at least worked his way back a bit with 13 minutes. At this point, it feels like we all must have missed Murphy's funeral as he has been out forever (Occeus 2.0). I'm not counting on him until I see him at this point (and even then, I will wonder.) People come back from broken bones faster

Not sure if you watched the game but the announcer said that Murphy's ankle problem was behind him and that he was scheduled to play today but he came down with the flu.
Yeah, it was a nice team win and Tyson had another solid game...seventeen polnts on six for eleven shooting and five rebounds in twenty-three minutes. He also made some nice plays that won't show up in the stats.

RE: Towson
I did watch and heard that. I guess I am just frustrated. It is the third time I have heard them say he was about ready to play but something happened to prevent it. At this point, it will take him 2 weeks to get back into shape as well and he has missed a moth and a half at this point
