Can you spell BLOWOUT? This isn't a very good team, period.

well, I really thought this team looked good with some wins earlier in the year. More of the same appears to be what is in store for the program this season.

Team's too young. Got 5 players and are too young beyond that. Probably needed a quality JUCO's point guard and power forward. Team needs more athleticism.

The Rockets will win plenty of games this year when they shoot well, but I don't think this year's version is as good as last year's. We lost three big offensive weapons.

We need to strictly run plays to get open threes...that's the only way we can win. We are going to give up 70 a night. period.

The problem isn’t shooting threes. We shot 29. Problem is making them.

Got killed at the foul line too. They made a bunch, we didn't shoot many. No answer for #5.

This team will be hard pressed to win 20 games this year...
The OOC schedule was not that tough, then they lost
their last three games... As you said, losing 2 outside threats (Sanford, Navigato) and a really solid slashing guard with (Darrington) off the bench has really made a difference...
I kind of wish Chris D.’s eligibility started this year, and with a healthy Edu, the Rockets would have had a better shot at winning the MAC...

As a long time Rocket fan this has been a very disapponting year. First the poor FB season and now BB. I never had too much faith in coach K. I know he runs a clean program and is competitive in the MAC but there is something about him that is missing. I remember listening to him at a pre-game rally at the Arkansas FB game a couple of years ago. Season hadn’t even started yet and he was identifying the starting five. Couldn’t a recruit or returning player be a surprise at crack the starting lineup? What also gets me is that we recruit kids that don’t often get any playing time once the starting five is determined. Let’s hope I’m being overly pessimistic and we have a great season. GO ROCKETS

Blame O'Brien. He hired two coaches who couldn't win at their previous schools and gave them long-term contracts when they didn't win here.

RE: Braves Wrap Up Non Conference With Toledo Saturday
Interesting parallel for Rocket basketball with Rocket football...hot start followed by a general collapse (for the moment).

Saunders is really, really, really struggling—and trying to force him to be a ball handler when Marreon is on the bench isn’t helping him. If we used a scholly on Donovan Moore, then let him play! Even if he’s never going to be a starter at least let him steal some minutes! Big mistake by TK not getting a true PG in to back up Marreon. That, and we really continue to miss (for the umpteenth season) a true power forward (Willie is a great rebounder, but he’s not a power forward who can create offense in the paint).

TK needs to start giving everybody plenty of minutes in these first 4-5 MAC games...let’s see who really wants to play. I still have hopes that this team will be a very different team in late February & March, but my hope is growing dimmer.

As physical as Bradley seemed to be, I would expect more time from TJ. I think he got zip. I don't get that. Could have absorbed some fouls as well.

They pushed us around.
