Yes Temple deserves all the scorn heaped upon us. Well, maybe not from UConn fans but still even the Huskies didn’t blow it like this. Our defense that played yesterday will have 4 starters in the NFL, yet we couldn’t slow down a decent (not great) offense. Our offense showed what they were all season: some good players, some outstanding plays, but no cohesion, continuity or game plan. Our QB situation is not good as Russo’s decision making is suspect, ie pick 6’s to start and end the season on screen passes. It’s early to talk about next year, but our defense will not be as good, we will have the same offense and ST is still overlooked; combined with a tougher schedule bowl eligibility will be tough. Good luck to the rest of the American teams in their bowls.
Start off your 2020 season with a win over a disfunctional Miami and you have a strong chance at going 4-0 OOC. Your AAC slate looks pretty stout but your likely 2-4 wins in conference will get you bowling again next year.

Afraid your assessment is spot on. There was no excuse regarding coaching change. Unimpressed with Uremivich or whatever his name is. Carey better not be married to him.

Carey is the perfect coach to keep your string going of big losses in bowl games. I don't know what it is with him.
