Here's an idea for OC
Miami is expected to part ways with current OC and former CMU HC Dan Enos. We probably can't pay him the $$ Miami did, but, I say give him a call. Maybe Candle is purposely waiting to see how things pan out at the conclusion of Bowl Season to see who he could potentially hire??

HAPPY NEW YEAR

I mentioned Charlie Weis Jr.
He's been hired by USF.

I hear Geoff Dartt from Mount Union is an up and coming offensive mind. His primary recruiting territory is NWO and Illinois.

No lets rule out the potential best candidate because you don't want some one from a certain school. Even though they are always a D3 power. I am not saying he is the best candidate but if he is I don't give a **** where he coached.

He's the OC at Georgetown. He's been moving around a lot during his entire coaching career. Most time he spent at one school was 4 years (Toledo and Clemson).

About time for him to move from Georgetown. He has been there for 2018 and 2019 seasons. Also along the road after stops at Temple, Tennessee Chatt., Rutgers, Bethune-Cookman, and Syracuse, he was a head coach at a high school in Chattanooga, Tenn.

I think I'd take a pass on that choice - even though we loved him at Toledo from 2001-2004. Two championships and a considerably improved offense from the more conservative teams under Pinkel.

He is a very weird dude.

You can watch his WKU offense against WMU in a couple days.

HAPPY NEW YEAR
GO ROCKETS

Think maybe Candle is having trouble finding coaches who want to sign on to his train wreck?

Hell. No.

And 2 seasons that are a combined 13-12 is no where near a train wreck.

Then they fired all the coaches for no reason. 03-wink

Train wrecks are trajectories more than destinations. The cars were at least bumping.

RE: Here's an idea for OC
I’d go after EMUs offensive coordinator. I really liked watching them play Pitt last night till the last drive of the game. I think their offense fits our style and personnel.

No to Dan Enos. Miami went 6-7 and was shutout in their bowl by Louisiana Tech. There is a reason that guy bounces around a lot. He must burn out his welcome fast. Also, have read nothing positive about him from CMU posters.

I think 2020 will be a great year for our Rockets! The coaching changes were needed and this year’s debacle just may be a blessing in disguise.

Go Rockets!!!

No, no, and a big emphatic F no to Dan Enos ...
He stunk it up at CMU, then Arkansas, and looks like he is consistently stinking it up down at the U...

May not be a train wreck, but no where near “ Building Champions “ material... But hey, I guess raking in the best recruiting classes year after year should build a foundation for something...
