If your hillbilly alma mater was the top "Group of 5" school they would have been playing in the Cotton Bowl. Try again.

App still played Penn State to a much closer game than y'all did. And Penn State had better players last year as well.

Are you really comparing an early season game not played on national TV by a team that obviously didn't take App State seriously in a 4 loss season by PSU to this year's 2 loss version of PSU? Surely you can see where PSU has better talent this year than last year. Penn State will be top 10, perhaps as high as 6th after the season, after finishing 17th last year.

Already excited to play a P6. Poor little thing

What's a pee6?

Always like playing the tigger kittens. I am glad the series is renewed.

it's sorta like your pee 3.5 except longer.

This is the espn recap...... seriously...... group of five tigers?

On a day when the Nittany Lions' defense gave up its most points and yards all season, Taylor turned that gift into a 15-yard interception return for a touchdown in a 53-39 victory over the Group of Five Tigers on Saturday in the highest-scoring Cotton Bowl ever.

Makes no sense. UCF argues the ranking system is full of bias then you give that all back when you say **** like this.

Memphis was very good this year. I think their ranking was roughly accurate. UCF wasn't fairly ranked the two years prior. The two are not mutually exclusive positions.

They kinda are tho. It’s the same people that make the ranking. You trust them when it’s not your team but when it is you cry that it’s a rigged system.

I agree it’s rigged just don’t agree with your flip flopping

I'm not saying I trust them. I certainly dont. A broken clock is right once a day. They got it roughly right about Memphis (that they deserve a ranking around 17).

What you mean? Teams aren't identical year over year? This year's Memphis team with identical players is clearly the same team as last year. 04-chairshot

It's okay. That's about as lame as trash talk can get. More embarrassing to the poster than disturbing to us.

Pretty pathetic actually.

outside of Brady White's stupid pick-six I thought Memphis played well against a legit top-10 team.

they did. they could've won but they had some very questionable play calling and the defense couldn't tackle for $h-t. it happens.

I agree, you were in it for a long time. #10 beats #17 on a neutral field.

Shocking result. 03-drunk

Yeah nice performance. Penn State has top 4-6 talent. Luckily for the Big Ten and Ohio State their quarterback Sean Clifford sucks.

Bad 2nd Quarter but overall good effort. After watching the Memphis/PSU game I went back and watch the 15 min version of UCF/LSU last year. Even though the B1G/SEC teams are 'big and strong' and deeper than we are if you have some really good skill players they are beatable. I think a little better QB play and less turnovers in the last 2 years could of/probably would of changed the results.

Yeah, despite the line disadvantages, the two interceptions, one a pick 6, and the other as we were about to score late, plus several uncharacteristic weak punts, did us in.
