It's a sunny 58 right now.

Of course two weeks from Saturday it will be 28 an hour before kickoff. 03-lmfao

The weather at their bowl game Friday night was pretty cold. Still saw guys with no shirts on and a lady in a bikini in their endzone beach.

I live 15 miles from the stadium. I just got home from shopping with my son. We are both in gym shorts and golf shirts. It is a gorgeous day, 70 degrees.

It is still early, but the forecast for 1/11 is not so great....

High of 47. Low of 36.
A bit of rain and freezing rain in the morning followed by a passing shower in the afternoon
Wind: ENE at 5 mph
Wind Gusts: 18 mph
Probability of Precipitation: 56%
Probability of Thunderstorms: 20%
Precipitation: 0.05 in
Rain: 0.04 in
Ice: 0.01 in
Hours of Precipitation: 3
Hours of Rain: 1

Hopefully that precipl won't happen.

A forecast 18 days out is worthless.

I remember in 2016, two days or so before the game it was beautiful... something like 70 degrees. The day before, that cold front rolled through with near record lows. Down near 0 fahrenheit that night and not much better the morning of the game. Thankfully, the sun was out. Who knows. Its going to be a crapshoot unlike here in Seattle... guaranteed 42 and rain.

In the 2016 championship game it was 17 degrees at kickoff. At the end of the game I could not feel my legs from about 1/2 way down to my feet. Took about 20 minutes of walking around to get the blood moving again. Now the 2017 championship game, warm sunny and in the 60's!! Hoping for more of that this year.

I remember 2016 also. If I recall correctly, we were tailgating at 7AM in 7-degree weather. Two of my sons-in-law went swimming in our pool that day.

It was? I was thinking 2016 was freezing, but 2017 was still cold.

2017 was a little chilly in the morning when it was still dark tailgating but warmed up and was around 60 at game time.

I’m glad I only had to scroll four posts in to find what I knew was present in this thread. Yes, why are we putting any weight in a forecast so far out?

It was really cold for Bizzzzzzzzon fans on January 7, 2017 because they were in Fargo watching us roll some Penguins. Doh!

Come on Purple don't indulge them in calling it by the French pronunciation...be an American.

As we found out for the UNI game. A forecast - day of - can also be worthless.

It’s looking like it will be clear and a chilly 37-41 degrees for game time Saturday.

Bring some warm clothes. Layers are best because Dallas can be a bit unpredictable this time of year.

So does this mean JMU fans will just not show up......I mean that is the gloom and doom that happens for an undesirable home game based on a non 75 degree day at FBS regardless of opponent or regular season vs playoffs.

RE: Jan 11 2020 Frisco Weather Thread
It's looking beautiful here all week, highs in the upper 60s to low 70s.... until Saturday! Then the temp drops. I saw about a dozen forecasts, including the National Weather Service. Most are calling for a high around 50 (most say 47), low around 30, 20% chance of morning showers, winds 15 MPH, gusting to 20+. Not ideal football weather, but it could be worse, like the 7 degrees it was 3 years ago.
