The Space Force is the newest branch of the military, established yesterday. I am assuming the USSFA is going to be the newest service academy at some point in the near future. They seem like a perfect fit for the WAC. Hurd needs to make Trump or whomever aware that the USSFA has a bid if they want one.

LOL that’s awesome. You realize the initial size of the Space Force will be about 200 personnel. So, the academy might be a little ways off. That being said...

GCU offers online classes! We should offer to be the temporary space force academy. Private, christian, affordable... and available in or above the atmosphere.

With how much Las Cruces is advertising "A place for space" we could see something in NM or a Space Force team soon. I think it might be on the Coast Guard level of play but it is something.

I don't mean to bring anything serious to this discussion, but "the USSF was established within the Department of the Air Force, meaning the Secretary of the Air Force has overall responsibility for the USSF, under the guidance and direction of the Secretary of Defense."

The USSF will have the same relationship with the Air Force that the Marine Corps has with the Navy. Officers in the new service will be trained at the Air Force Academy.

I keep thinking about that one level on an older Call of Duty game (maybe Ghosts or one of the Black Ops?) where you’re shooting astronauts as you float and hop around in zero G.
