He may have been a bad head coach but he was a very good OL coach. We need a better OL coach and Callaway needs a few more years to qualify for retirement in the state system if I have my facts right.

Yes Neil Callaway would be an excellent OL coach for us.

The thought had crossed my mind, but I don’t want those ties to UA touching my program never, ever again.

We have Alabama ties on our coaching staff now.

I’m perfectly ok with him being an OL coach.

It’s more about the era of UA he is connected to than coming from the Bama staff recently. Call me paranoid, but I’m not up for risking it. Would take Jody Wright back in a heartbeat.

He coached four years and won less than 30% of his games and got an extension. We had to sit on the visitors side.

I could see them trying that absolutely. Callaway is a good decent man. I don't trust the BOT.

callaway was bring buy the bot ,,,he was trying his best but he was not hc material at that time

Callaway is a very good OL coach, and he usually had a good offense. I would take him back in a heat5rtbeat.

You, Think Coach would come back to the O line after he has been the head Coach. He should be retired and enjoying his life or at FSU. Did he knot coach at USC and you think he will be the o line coach for UAB. Better get some young Blood. Like Robert Lelslie.

He’ll sit on that USC paycheck til helton gets or gives the boot.

Callaway is an SEC caliber OL coach. He had no business being made a HC, and the circumstances under which that happened meant that he was disliked and distrusted by the UAB fans from the jump. I don't particularly want him back, but if he did come as OL coach he'd be much better than adequate.

better than UAB could afford without getting lucky. needed to qualify for his pension would allow us to get him at a discount

Have no problems with NC as an Online coach for us.
