Hawking, are you going to stick around for a while and continue to follow the team or moving on? I don’t fault ya either way.
Kai’s departure isn’t shocking at this point really, and like both you and 82 said... a very telling metric of where we are as a program.
Conference play here we come!

I'll be around because I know the players and I think UNCW deserves better than they are getting. Its not CB's fault he is ill-equipped. He has a boss that has to make that call. Go Hawks!

It's official Toews a goner
Sadly I can’t fault him for wanting out. But, it is what it is.
I’d never quit on my team mid season regardless, but these kids have to do what’s best for them.
My respect for Cacok grows more by the day for sticking around

Rendleman too. He was the poster child for a big time player giving loyalty to a program through tough times.

I don't see Toews leaving the team as a huge deal myself and if does he not want to be here-good luck dude in whatever you decide to do. Phillips will take the minutes and I think is a better all around player. I understand Toews had a nice freshman year but this year was a struggle for him.
College athletes transfer all the time these days so it is no surprise to me when they move for a what might be a better deal.

Well. If I were a betting man, I’d put a chunk of change on Shykeim Phillips being the starter at PG now, you know... the guy that just won ROW.
I was looking at who was second on your team in assists per game this season and last season. I didn't know Gadsden was hurt when I posted that. By not naming Phillips, I was not criticizing him other than the fact the Okauru averages more assists. If you're right, Phillips could give you a point guard on the Rookie Team in consecutive seasons. My guess is he makes the Rookie Team but doesn't win ROY.
Who will become a starter? Boggs? Tolefree?

Both will play a lot so it doesn’t matter that much. The former a walk on will get his chance too due to the lack of numbers. He seems to get his share of deflections and looks like he can shoot some too.
