The G4 fans remind me of haters trying to destroy someone successfully lifting themselves up and moving on to a better life. The G4 can't stand for the AAC to leave them behind so they are trying to drag us down to their level. Disgusting amount of envy. P-6 is marketing campaign. The AAC is a tweener conference and neither truly P5 or G4. We are closer to the P5 than the G4 though. Just focus on improving yourselves instead of trying to tear us down for being successful.

I remember in the CUSA days we used to thump our chest on our "bowl game" record...

But then when the AAC became the defacto NY6 Bowl game, that really became the only bowl that matters. It speaks more about the AAC that we consistently earn that bowl game based on our teams' performances throughout the season, way more than a bunch of meaningless, bowl games at the end of the year.

So if you Sunbelt teams want to beat your chest about bowl game records, go right ahead, I can't guarantee we won't snicker, but the sad truth is, those bowl games really matter very little.

Meanwhile the AAC will continue to push for recognition as a conference deserving to be in the playoff picture whether you G4 types like it or not.

whether or not you consider us a power conference or not, it is arguably one of the most genius strategies in college football history...and in the long run could actually benefit a school like troy..

These G4 jackholes that, looks like today it's Troy and App state, come here trying to tear down the AAC crack me up. They don't realize how they are shooting themselves in the foot.

Instead of trying to pull the AAC 'down', you should be cheering the AAC on, and trying to replicate our path to 'P' status. Unless you guys actually are happy with the 'separate but equal' perpetual second class status within the 10 FBS conferences? And NEVER being able to compete for the national championship? If that's what you want, then just separate already and hold your own NC game.

It's just jealousy... not reasoned thinking. If we are busting down the P5 wall, they should want to be the next up...

Replicate what path...by branding ourselves and put a P6 sticker on the back of our helmets? You consider that “P status”? I have nothing against Memphis or the other AAC schools, it’s the fans like the ones on this board that are salty as hell and give a bad name for their school. Y’all say I come on your board antagonizing when y’all are actually the ones taking shots at other conferences with the whole “G4 status” bs before I even posted, then you want to say we should be cheering y’all on? come on man - do better.
