Hoping for the same! Definitely going to be a tough game. Really great matchup.
Big deal to have the game on ABC this year. It'll be a great showcase for both teams and fan bases.
Safe travels!

Wouldn't surprise me in the least w/ all of Cignetti's connections in that town, that he had a clearer picture of what happened than the police did. People are more open when talking to friends than the PoPo.

I guess you haven't spent any time on their message board. A poster bragged about calling his cousin that worked for the NCAA to complain that a streamer being thrown could cause an injury, which led to the streamer initially. Other posters jumped in saying they called to complain about the screen procedures not keeping them out last time. Lots of false statements there about Stapleton. I excuse most pre-game **** talking as just general message board banter, but going out of your way to stop a school's tradition and spreading lies doesn't really seem "nice" to me.

i rewatched the 2016 JMU-Bizzzzzzzon game.
i had forgotten we suspended 7 players prior to that game, including some starters.
and we still beat that ass down. The game really never should have been as close as it was.

Being "nice" is just a façade. They are just as petty, mean spirited and evil at heart as any other person in the world and they are more insecure than any group I've ever come into contact with in my entire life.

Almost all of the players that transferred to JMU did so after their freshman year of eligibility so it’s not like JMU fills their roster each year with grad transfers.
That's only if you count the 2 Div II trasfer walkons.
I-A transfers 3 on offense (Dinucci, Polk, Hamilton). 3 on defense Carter, Word, Davis. All regular starters except Hamilton is a co starter.
The 7th on the team, the rFr Temple transfer at DE, isn't on the 2 deep.
Do you even really count carter and Davis as transfers? They left school after freshmen years from which they hardly played.
I believe when I looked it up:
Carter played 5 games total and had 2 tackles.
Davis appeared in 2 games and had zero tackles.
It’s not like those guys were regulars at their first school.
Point taken, but yes, I do consider them transfers. Without looking up the details of their recruitment, I would guess they are both guys that didn't give any real consideration to FCS schools (meaning they had enough FBS offers that FCS was an unlikely choice).
Yea you have a LOT of transfers, I think NDSU has 2, 1 is a backup QB and a 3rd string WR. I just feel like its a tigher knit group, they know each other better, they got recruited together and became friends senior year in hs basically. I think it makes a difference.

Only game in town, so when you already own the region it puts a dent in the transfers as you already get those players out of HS. Sometimes in areas with a lot more competition the kids sell out to the highest offer before realizing they should’ve settled in at a place like JMU. Again, these FBS transfers, outside of Polk, transferred in for the majority of their college career.

Or players dont want to transfer to NDSU because they dont want play/live in Fargo. I'm sure thats a factor as well

RE: NDSU ---- We're Baaaaack!
Just like every FCS school in the country has the right to get transfers, we have transfers as well. Big deal. And every single one that we have has been a high character guy with great academics. Not a single transfer on our team has caused locker room issues. None. Some of them are now even captains on the team.
If NDSU fans want to discredit us for having transfers, how about NDSU having to rely on out of state players? They can't even get the majority of their players from the state they are from! On the other hand, we get most of our players from Virginia.
Ridiculous argument, right? Just like saying JMU is doing something wrong by filling pieces with transfers. It's something NDSU can do just as much as JMU.
Grow up NDSU fans.... you are better than this.
Perhaps I give them too much credit.

Have you been in the JMU locker room? Or the NDSU locker room for that matter??
Having more/less transfers doesn't automatically mean the locker room is more/less knit than any other locker room. How about Carter, a guy who transferred and one reason was because his brother was going here? Or Dylan Stapleton, another transfer where Riley was already going here.
A lot of our transfers actually know players before they get here. Plus our staff goes after high character guys. They aren't just looking for a great athlete. They want more than that.
After spring training and a full season of play, I think it's pretty fair to say both teams have pretty close knit locker rooms.
A bad locker room can definitely destroy a team, but not every good locker room equals success on the field.
That argument is weak.

Oh man, forgot about those guys -DeLuca and Tangueray. Heard those names in the weeks before the Natty almost as much as Montana fans touted Colt Anderson. Batman and Superman...

Facts are Facts, has nothing to do with growing up. You got Transfers, its ok, NDSU is a regional school ND & Minnesota 50/50 student wise.
We are better, 126-8 Better. and 8 natty titles better.
:)
Now, can your stop Trey Lance, thats the question you need to ask yourselves
