Here's the top of the Rice baseball page that I see in Chrome, which is up-to-date: Version 79.0.3945.88 (Official Build) (64-bit). No white bar.

I can scroll down through various stories etc., but no white bar (with a stats option) or anything else that leads to stats appears.

Here is what I see in Chrome.

I use Chrome and it's set at 100%, and I don't see that white bar of links.

Same here

I think it is a bug related to how Chrome displays the page with various levels of Zoom. For me, I see the white bar at 100%, but it disappears if I hit 'Shift_Cntl_+' to Zoom to 110%. If I keep hitting that combo to zoom further, it comes back. If I zoom out to make everything small, it disappears eventually on the low end at 33%, too.

I'm guessing it will vary for people depending on their screen resolution. So, try hitting combinations of 'Shift_Cntl_+' and 'Shift_Cntl_-' to see if it shows up.

Here are the results for me on my 1920x1200 display:
Chrome Zoom % | White Line Displayed?
25% | No
33% | No
50% | Yes
67% | Yes
75% | Yes
80% | Yes
90% | Yes
100% | Yes
110% | No
125% | No
150% | Yes
175% | Yes
200% | Yes, but "Football" becomes "FB" for this and higher zooms.
250% | Yes
300% | Yes
400% | Yes
500% | Yes

Thanks - I changed my browser to 90 pct and it works now. Good info. to know - and I'd say relatively crappy design by sidearm since Chrome at 100 percent is pretty much the default browser and appearance for at least 30 to 40 percent of the regular viewing audience?

On both Chrome and Firefox I see the bar at 90%, but not at 100%.

Okay, just experimented. I cannot see it at 100% or 90% on chrome, but can see it at 75%. Unfortunately, that's too small for me. Can't see it at 110%, but can see it at 125%, so I guess that's where I'll keep it for now.

Thanks for the tid bits.

I am sure it is a combination of the screen resolution and Chrome size. I'm running at 1920 x 1080 and I see it at 100%.

We need to ask the web designers to give it 110%

(Not 75%)
