I will say if we lose by 14 I will be impressed as I thought we would get manhandled like we did in the Conference Championship. I am by no means happy with a loss, especially the way we lost but I expected much worse.

Johnston hangs a deep ball to Mitchell into double coverage. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

AppState offense more precise, more efficient, more purposeful especially in the run game...

Why not end on a bad call. Forward progress stopped but let’s allow 4 players come and hit our WR. Good Lord.

I’m all for women officiating but don’t put a woman at the college level with little to no game experience just because she is a woman. The face mask happened right in front of her too.

Need more overall speed on defense (LB's and DB's)

Need new OC/QB coach

Need new starting QB

Need speed at RB

Women shouldn’t officiate at all

i havent read the whole thread, so dont know if its been discussed...
but, last i knew, an offense cant advance a fumble on 4th down (unless advanced by the player who fumbled).
right?
has that rule changed?

I was curious about that as well.

They can't even get calls right on a replay, what an awfully officiated game.

You can advance a fumble in college football by after recovering a ball - unless it was out of bounds or if it’s 4th down or a PAT. On a 4th down or PAT, only the same player can advance the ball that fumbled (lost) is. Should someone else from the offense (Team A) recover the ball, it will be regulated dead by the officials and the play is over.
That is according to a quick internet seach

Yeah, I can’t find anything to the contrary.
I just don’t understand why it wasn’t our ball at the spot of the recovery?
