I think hes trying to build a USF Staff... He might be confused about who he is coaching.

After today"s results, I don't think they need Taggart unless they plan to go backwards.

They are getting Taggart on the cheap... But I agree with you, "They don't need Taggart..."

It will take 3 to 4 years to build that team. Look at USF.

taggert is a one and done. he will be gone at the whiff of any program with even a slight payraise or brand.

if i was FAU I would keep an eye out and evaluate up and coming coaches starting now. so that way when he leaves soon you can have someone already in mind.

Taggart will be there for a bit. After FSU, he is toxic and then he went back to his old school and begged to get hired and was told no. That is gonna make a lot of ADs really worried.

Taggart can recruit, so they will get talent and with Jim Leavitt as the DC... thats gonna be one tough game. I doubt USF beats them next year. Will kinda be sad to play against our Father of Football.

Overall 56-62 (47%)

Well this will be the 1st time he has come into a situation where they are coming off a successful season.

He isn't an X's and O's guy so it will be interesting to see if there will be much of a drop off.

Leavitt has shown he is a good D coach so I expect the defense to continue to be good.

scott frost has been a head coach for 4 years and has a losing record in 3 of them. you can frame numbers anyway you like without context.

WKU and USF were 2-10 his first year (they were 0-12 and 3-9 respectively the previous seasons) and Oregon was 4-8.

Thats the point many people have tried to make. His isnt a bad coach and has shown the ability to turn programs around.

Now he has a winning program, so lets see what he can do. If he messes up too bad, then they have Leavitt there and ready to take his place.
