We are #39 in team 2020 recruiting rating on Rivals right behind Minnesota and just ahead of Louisville.
We have the three four star recruits now with only one each for the Gophers and Cardinals.

De'Arre McDonald, Ole Miss flip, just committed. Man, all of these kids are psyched to be able to sign and play for whomever Fickell's successor must be.

He visited on the 24th...what a way to close the class. Already had around a top 50 class before this signing period and we just closed on 4 players who are rated in the Top 8 in the class now. Just an incredible way to end this recruiting cycle!

With the McDonald commit the class will now hit #41 in 247 and #36 in Rivals.

Some added perspective here...

CLF and Staff landed two Top 500 recruits in the short signing period, both of whom were previously committed to P5 programs. In the four years before Fickell came to Cincinnati, we landed two Top 500 recruits TOTAL.

Also...

Our class' combined point total is further from the second place team (Tulane) than they are from the 11th placed team (UConn). This is insane.

The 21 signees in this class have a higher average rating than the individual highest rated recruit of about 1/2 of the AAC. Let that sink in.

Sammy Anderson is also a 4* from some services after they updated their rankings. Really tremendous class with everything considered. This staff is building a monster program that should be poised for several outstanding years.

Hopefully we can take down some more P5 schools over the next 2 years including at ND!
