I wonder if Joey pays attention to these ratings? Hopefully, when the department comes back from a week in Texas they will devote some time to MBB. It sure would be neat if they could get their attendance up

Totally agree, but it ain’t happening. Hard to increase attendance when you remove seats and encourage students to stay away. Feeding a few in front of the masses is a VERY bad optic. Top that with
Alienating long time donors, and doing all you can to discourage your staff, not a good formula to increase attendance. Basketball no longer a priority at KSU. MAC center a dump , worst in MAC maybe , only JAR is equal or worse. Improve attendance, Not happening!

They have worked on improving the MAC Center in recent years and you can only do what you can do. We aren't building a new arena so you either try to shine up the old lady and be ok with it or whine about it. They are making the best of a bad situation.

I like the MAC. If they can add the improvements that they have talked about for years we will be fine. The problem is that nobody in athletics can get out and raise that type of money. Obviously, very few people like or respect joel. The others in the department were promoted when people left and they are just cheerleaders. We lost the people that can go out and get big donations.

I hope this is okay to share here. I am a Utah State fan coming in peace. I'm looking forward to our game tomorrow. While reading your board, I saw this discussion about NET and wanted to share a site that I recently built that breaks down the NET and shows each teams schedule with the Quadrants that each game fit into. You can click on the card below for Kent State's page:

Well done and very cool. I appreciate the work it took to do this. Added to my main hoops bookmarks.
