Twitter 101 sort of.
am getting a lot of PMs about how to post Tweets here. This is how I do it. (there may be easier ways) and how to read posted tweets on an Android.
To embed a twitter post on CSNBBS, from your PC
1. go to Twitter
2. select the down carat on the upper right of the tweet you want to share
3. click on "embed tweet"
4. select (highlight) all of the text inside the "what Would You Like To Embed" box
5. right click and select "copy"
5. in your board post, paste the copied text inside of twitter and /twitter, each inside of brackets [ ]
such that bracket twitter]your link here[/twitter close bracket
LOL If I actually use the actual syntax it thinks it's a tweet. Do a "reply" to one with the post and you will see what I mean.
To read a Twitter post on your Android from Tapatalk your phone, make sure Twitter is installed.
press and hold the blue twitter link text, and press "twitter" at the menu prompt (twitter share copy select all) above the link.

Steps 2-4 can be a little simpler by just clicking on the tweet and copy/paste the URL from the address bar. Then paste as bit_9 shows with those Twitter brackets.
FWIW the tweet shows up on Tapatalk even if you don't use brackets.

I use postimages.org to upload the photo and then copy the photo URL from there and use the photo tags of [img] url here [/img]. And make sure there is no space between the brackets and the url.

RE: Twitter 101 sort of.
I use this site for photos. Just click the upload button, pick you photo, click upload then your image will appear and a box of code will be below it. From the dropdown choose "BBCode full linked" and copy then paste that into the comments. Viola.
https://imgbb.com/upload
edit: they seem to be throwing in some extra code that I had to delete, it was a link to some foundation. there are other pic hosting sites that will have the full code ready to copy and paste, just make sure it's the BBCode option

Use the tapatalk app. It allows you to post pictures like you would from any other apps on your phone. A lot easier than doing it on the website.

I don’t use tapatalk. Too glitchy. But maybe this will work for ya.

Ha. I meant the bold part above. I can see now that I am viewing from a browser that it is a text string with the image format, but in Tapatalk it shows up as a broken image. I guess because you were giving an example and the formatting is not correct.
