North Carolina. At least that's what makes the most geographical sense to me.........the two directional Carolinas, battling it out.......nothing but pure hate! :D

I'd say UGA, although I don't carry the same type of digusting hate for them that I do UT.

Basically, UGA's the one that makes the most sense geographically IMO. We share borders, we're in the same division, and we battle for many of the same recruits.

If we were in the ACC, or an independent I'd no doubt go with the 'Heels, but since we don't play them it's hard to be rivals.

Any chance that the 'Heels will be returning to South Carolina's football schedule any time soon?

What a happy thought! We would have the whole state to ourselves for recruiting. I would think it would be UGA, but if we did not have to share recruits, we might develop into a good enough program to challenge Florida or Tennessee. 04-cheers

Not that I'm aware of. If we HAD to schedule an ACC team, I'd rather play them than Virginia. At least it renews an old rivalry. But with the schedule going back to 11 games next season, I don't see it happening......not as long as other SEC teams continue to schedule the Akrons and UABs of the world during those 11 game years.

Going back to the original premise of this thread, if the earth opened and Clemson were swallowed up, there would be a measurable reduction observed in the methane content of the earth's atmosphere.
