Surprised nobody has commented on the Women's Crosstown Shootout yet. Congrats to the team for their 85-78 win over X yesterday! Here's Coach Clark-Heard's post game interview (should we call her CMC-H?)

Great effort and outcome for he Women's BBall team.
The women's volleyball team also defeated a higher seed and made it to the second weekend of the tournament.
UC Girls getting it done.
I caught a couple of the women's basketball home games last year (first time in more than a decade). They're playing a nice brand of basketball, are enjoyable to watch and the "cheap seats" are everywhere--including about seven rows up at center court where we sat.
Clark-Heard is doing a fine job and I intend to get out to a few more games this year and encourage other fans to do the same. With UCONN departing after this year, I think UC is well positioned to be among the top two or three programs in this conference.
Winning across the board in men's and women's sports is another brick in the foundation for P5 readiness. And having fans at these games, along with baseball, volleyball and soccer creates a better environment for all.
