2020 QBs
According to 247 Sports, the Top Ten QBs in the Nation for 2020 include:

#10 Shane Buechele SMU
Career numbers: 710-of-1,138 (62.4), 8,565 yards passing, 64 TDs, 26 INTs

Why he's in the Top 10: Forward-thinking a bit here, but Buechele's senior-season numbers at SMU could dwarf 2019's stats — and those were awfully impressive (3,929 yards passing, 34 TDs). The language won't change and Buechele will have full grasp of Sonny Dykes' power spread as a Year 2 starter, even with the arrival of new OC Garrett Riley. The former Texas transfer gets all of his offensive linemen back and the arrival of two weapons at wideout will soften the blow of James Proche's exit. SMU floundered late this fall, but the Mustangs could very much be a Top 25 mainstay once again in 2020 under Buechele's guidance.

#9 Brady White Memphis
Career numbers: 540-of-862 (62.6), 7,569 yards passing, 61 TDs, 21 INTs

Why he's in the Top 10: White was the perfect quarterback for Mike Norvell's system at Memphis, a player he could trust to not only get the ball out on time, but put the Tigers in situations to succeed. Per GoTigers247, White found his comfort zone in his second season as a starter and was "much more comfortable and confident" leading to one of the best performances in school history. White finished the season with 4,014 passing yards (fourth in the country) and 33 passing touchdowns (tied for eighth nationally). He'll get most of the studs around him back for 2020.

Will be glad to see White back. Buechele not so much.

RE: 2020 QBs
I personally can't wait to see what then UCF True Freshmen QB Dillon Gabriel can do in Year 2.

He blew away every UCF True Freshmen QB Record (sorry Daunte Culpepper), and his stats dwarfed that of McKenzie Milton's first year.

Gabriel threw for 3,653 yds and had 29 TD Passes and just 7 INT's. (He added 3 more TD's on the ground) as Gabriel started 12 of UCF's 13 games (did not start the season opener...Notre Dame transfer Brandon Wimbush did before Gabriel blew by him).

Not bad stats for a "run first" offense (55% of the plays).

Yes, he was very impressive for a freshman this past year. I think he makes an NFL roster one day for sure.

I share your sentiment, but I suspect for different reasons.

RE: 2020 QBs
I liked what I saw out of Zach Smith. If we can keep his jersey cleaner next season he should be one of the top QB’s in the conference.
