Didn't realize he was from Canada. When's the last time UT had a Canadian player? Used to do very well bringing in some players from up north, but none recently that I can recall.

Rocket Football?
Okay, eh!
Not sure he was the last one but a great one Nick Kazur was canadian

Yep and Ridgway. Plus lots of other contributors like JP Bekasiak, Lyle Green, Phil Gibson, Mac Freeman ... that I can think of off the top of my head.

Tino looks like a powerful back, but not a burner. He does have long strides, so that could be deceiving. A few of the runs, he was untouched. Toledo may want to look at the linemen.

Thanks. There must have been an error on the site I looked at. I deleted my post so as not to confuse anyone else.

Same school as Diontae Johnson... I know one of the O-Lineman signed with GaTech.

In years past there were detailed bios of each player which is a big deal to me. Often there were links to player videos also.

Looked around at other schools and all were much better. Also, there were coach press conferences in almost every case.

Just my 2c but...

Who cares? We have done big events most years (and it's still likely to come in February) and all that plus our "#1 in the Conference Recruiting" has done nothing on the field. Let's allow the staff to focus on getting a couple really good coordinators in here.

Totally get wanting lots of coverage but we have bigger problems.

I believe Candle did a great job getting this class on board. He’s in a tight spot. Trying to get the class signed and recruiting both players and coaches. With the class now onboard he can put more effort into getting our new OC and DCs . That’s something I hope he takes his time with. That’s something he really has to take his time in getting someone that knows what he’s doing

I have to agree that Candle did an outstanding job of holding recruits. This could have easily fallen apart on him. As for coaching hires, I would think if it were going to be people immediately available that we would have heard something by now, but maybe negotiations are on-going. I'm guessing he's looking at coaches who are currently busy with the post season. How will this work out? I'm in Missouri mode - you've got to show me.

Make that Grand Slams....

Hard to expect the coordinators to turn the team around if the head coach allowed the team to decline over 2 consecutive years. So far, he is probably graded as a C-/D+ as a head coach He is now 34-19 at Toledo, which is not horrible, but is only 13-12 in the past 2 years. That is the concern since it reflects more of his control over the team with many of the players now playing being the ones he brought in as the Head Coach.

Hope he is successful in this endeavor.

19 of the preseason two deep were Campbell's recruiting classes(2014, 2015, 2016).
I count the 2016 class because Campbell was HC through the 2015 regular season. He had some real marginal classes if look you at the players
that panned out

That's what concerns me. I could see a little drop off after some key losses to graduation or injury but not two years in a row. Not when we have things rolling. And especially not when the rest of the conference looks so weak.
