RE: 2019 Bowl Pickem, Week 1
Washington kicks off the Pickem with a resounding win over Boise. Only 6 players picked that one correctly. Maybe we'll do better when play resumes on Thursday.

Not off to a great start so far. Our combined winning % is only .275 (14-37). Let's hope we pick up the pace today with five games on the slate.

RE: 2019 Bowl Pickem, Week 1
After a slow start, we still have a chance to collectively finish above .500 for Week 1. To do it, both favorites need to win their CFP semi tonight.

One thing is now certain. The Pickem championship is going to come down to the final score in the Clemson - Ohio State game. The only questions are whether there will be two players tied for first or four, and whether the winner will have 8 wins or 9. Stay tuned.

Well, that was fun. With that last TD, TexanMark is our champion, breaking a four way tie with HokieMark, GTFletch and kaplony. All had 8 correct picks, but Tex had 51 points to GTFletch's 55. Couldn't have been much closer.

Finishing with 7 wins were TyBull, Lenvillecards, Shannon Panther, XLance and slhNavy91.

Congratulations to TexanMark. Feel free to shower all four first place finishers with effusive praise and rep points. For all those who came up short this week, there's still time to submit the winning card for Week 2. But you need to get your picks in by tomorrow. And if today showed us anything, you need to pick the tiebreak score carefully.

If I could consistently do that well... I'd move to Vegas
