Rahnes Staff Discussion
Possible:
Aman Anand -former OdU assistant and pSU fans think hes coming here.
Zohn Burden- possible OC/maybe something like passing game coordinator? Strong possibility
I think there is a decent chance he brings one of the defensive coaches with him.
Wild speculation....????

Haven't heard about either. I wouldn't mind Stinespring being some recruiting coordinator/run game coordinator though.
Like a lot of the things Blackwell did but faded down the stretch. Would year 2 improve?

I guess the first question will be is RR going to keep any of the old staff.
Blackwell, Stinespring, Dwight Galt, and John Allen seem to be possibilities.
My own choice of an addition would be Zohn Burden.
Aman Anand would add an interesting wrinkle to special teams.
I am really interested in whom he brings in as OL coach.

Keep Stinespring and Blackwell
Zohn Burden showed no loyalty. Don't want anyone who doesn't want to be here.

Wait...he would have to accept the job wouldn't he? In that case, wouldn't he want to be here?
If you talking about leaving for VT, which you are. Its ridiculous to hold it against a guy that took a much higher paying position at a P5.

Not sure he can afford any of the PSU assistants. Sure, one might be willing to jump for a promotion in title, but I’m pretty sure any of the full time assistants would have to take a pay cut.

With Giles here.
So if you hired someone. Then a opportunity was presented that you couldn't compete with and knew it would allow that person to grow and gain valuable experience, you'd wish them well and success I would imagine? Then a few years later they are looking to come back and bring with them all the new experience and growth you would say no thanks? No way.

Right? This is as crazy as those who think we should never hire a VCU guy for hoops, just because he coached at VCU. I mean, do you think Alabama really cares that Saban once coached at LSU?
Although, for what it’s worth, never hire a VCU football coach.

This guy has been trying to punk this board for 24 hours, or since saying we should have kept Wilder. C'mon folks, wake the **** up! Dude is just trying to get a rise.

Right. Some of the analysts might be logical choices.

A person looking out for himself and his family in seeking a better paying position, and a chance to grow his stature within his profession is not akin to being disloyal to ones employer. The recruiting acumen ZB possesses would make it very foolish for ODU to not offer him the OC or at least Recruiting Coordinator position.

I’d love for him to keep Stiney. Bring in Burden. I kinda like Blackwell, but won’t lose sleep if he isn’t retained. The rest don’t really matter to me much.
