Who is the third starter after Wiseman and Lester? Is someone banged up that I don’t know of?

Agree !!! Hope he starts. Baugh needs to come off the bench for now.
Gotta have good games from DJ, Ellis and Precious. And key minutes from Harris ... And Hardaway. Be more selective with the press and slow things down a bit ... More rebounds, less turnovers. Out of control don't get it.

And no Ts !!! Shut up and play Alex !!!07-coffee3

Basically, we have to play both hungry and in control. Otherwise, we’ll be reminded how much we miss Lester and James.

If I’m coaching UT, after I get over the nausea and self-loathing, I’m going to have my team make it a slow, frustrating grind.

because of that and home court for my Vols i see this game as a coin flip
Tennessee has gotten off to a nice start but i think if we end up in the 68 team field in March it will be quite an accomplishment
hope many of you are able to make it over for the game saturday should be a great and loud crowd if the Vols are in it until the end

We're missing LQ, as well.

Penny said before the season for us to be elite we needed to rebound and play defense.

1) Wiseman fixes the overwhelming rebounding challenge when he gets back but we do not do a good job at all in this area
2) At times we have played some good defense but not consistently
3) We are so young
4) Game is at UT
5) We can win, probability is UT will win unless we change the way we have been playing
6) End result is playing at UT this early in the season has the chance to provide us with a tough place to play to help teach the team how to play in a tough environment.

1.) Really our main challenge is defensive rebounding. We are 25th in Offensive Rebounding %. We are 3rd in blocked shots which causes some of our defensive rebounding issues. A blocked shot that goes back to the offense is an offensive rebound. Sometimes by attempting to block every shot we aren't always in a good position to get a defensive rebound. Some is certainly poor effort.
2.) Opponents shoot 41.5% Overall FG against us (12th best), 40.2% 2pt (10th), 29.2% 3pt (54th), 64.9% FT (51st). We are in the top 50 in turning teams over and 3rd in blocks.
3.) Due to freshmen having to play a lot of minutes they have to grow up fast.
4.) For sure a hard place to play.
5.) Kenpom has us losing 75-69 with a 29% win chance. A loss is expected with 2 starters out so a win is extra gravy.
6.) Yes

My guess:
Memphis: 71
Vols: 77

Not having Wiseman and Q is not our problem right now. Even if we had both of them we would still have issues with UT.

Our guard play is beyond pathetic. Wiseman, Q, and Precious cannot dribble the ball up the court and feed themselves in the post.

We went into the last game with an assist to turnover ratio of 1.1-1. Then we had something like 9 assist and 16 turnovers. Now we sit at 1.04-1.

Outside of Lomax our top guards were like 4 for 24 from the field.

Well "Q" is a guard, so, ummmm, yeah.

Looks like KenPom has us +6.
Sagarin has us +4.
With 2 starters out. It's a crying shame we won't be able to deliver the spanking we would if we had our full roster.
It's a Quad1 game for us, so nothing to lose either way.
