RE: My playoff
I would add 2 at-large schools, because in some years the best team in the nation might not be a conference champion.

1. LSU 13-0 (SEC champ)
2. Ohio State 13-0 (Big Ten champ)
3. Clemson 13-0 (ACC champ)
4. Oklahoma 12-1 (Big Twelve champ)
5. Georgia 11-2
6. Oregon 11-2 (Pac Twelve champ)
7. Baylor 11-2
8. Memphis 12-1 (AAC champ)
9. Boise State 12-1 (Mountain West champ)
10. Appalachian State 12-1 (Sun Belt champ)
11. Florida Atlantic 10-3 (Conference USA champ)
12. Miami Ohio 8-5 (MAC champ)

10. Appalachian State 12-1 (Sun Belt champ)
11. Florida Atlantic 10-3 (Conference USA champ)
12. Miami Ohio 8-5 (MAC champ)

So you would have:

Round 1
#5 Georgia vs. #12 Miami OH
#6 Oregon vs. #11 Florida Atlantic
#7 Baylor vs. #10 Appalachian St
#8 Memphis vs. #9 Boise St

Round 2
#1 LSU vs. lowest remaining seed
#2 Ohio St vs. 2nd lowest remaining seed
#3 Clemson vs. 2nd highest remaining seed
#4 Oklahoma vs. highest remaining seed
