If the school administration makes the right decision we could be forming a couple of search committees to find replacements for both Penny and Silverfield as they announce their retirements as the head coaches of the U of Memphis' Men's Basketball and Football teams.

Would be so great to have both locked up for years to come in order to be able to focus on other parts of the athletic department

Silverfield has said he'd love to stay here for a long time

Yep but you can likely count on one hand current examples of this playing out successfully elsewhere at a program not named Bama, UK (MBB), etc.

I would like to see an ON-CAMPUS stadium at U of M 20 years from now.

Didn't work out too well at UK. Bear left because he did not want to play second fiddle to Rupp. Shivers go up my spine when I think that UK could have actually been a title contender in both sports for decades.
