 OOC Basketball schedule for 2020
The other day Penny talked about a game in NY at Madison Square Garden in the works with Georgetown and/or Michigan and another school of former NBA players turned coaches type of event.
But looking at our projected schedule next year, we have very little room for another road or away game.
This is our scheduled opponents for next year.
Tennessee (Nashville, TN)
@Ole Miss
Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament, Bahamas (3 games)
Michigan or Georgetown (MSG, New York)???
@Georgia (AAC/SEC Challenge)
Looking at that including the proposed NY City game, we will only have room for just 6 home OOC games out of 13 total OOC games allowed. On average we play 8-9 home games per year.
Good news is, we'll have a more experienced roster (assuming most come back) next year to compete with such a demanding road schedule and a lot of tv exposure.

Didn't Penny say that he would, one day, like to get games with schools coached by former NBA players? ---- not that he had those games scheduled?
