With no OC, DC, LB'er Coach, only 12 commits in the Recruiting Class, and not a lot of Bowl interest from the fan base, the Rockets have some bigger fish to fry.

What makes sense to me is to have us charter buses through Trinity and leave from the football Convo parking lots drop off and pick up at the games. Probably could do a package deal transportation and ticket for one price, Trinity should be able to make a few bucks, the school and it eliminates the hassle of a longer drive and parking at Ford Field. Just a suggestion.

I would have never in a million years thought that we would have the chance to go to back to back bowl games for EMU. I’m so happy for the entire team and the program!

The moment it all went down!!

I would not have whined had we been passed over, after all like WMU, we had the opportunity to control our own destiny and we whiffed.

That being said, I don't now how we got it but I am thrilled. Our seniors deserve another game. It is now up to us to get some tickets sold.

I hope they do a group deal!

Congrats to the coaches and players. Awesome opportunity and honestly the best bowl we could possibly play in. Reasons why this is the best case scenario.....
1. recruiting, recruiting, recruiting. We need to continue to hammer the mitten to get local buy in. It's been picking up but playing in front of local recruits goes a long way.

2. Extra practice time.

3. National exposure. We are the only NCAAAF game at that time on that day.

4. More playing time for guys returning next year. Obviously a greatr opportunity for the Seniors who put us in this spot, but this is a great opportunity as well for younger guys to see this and play in this environment. This experience will help going into tnext year.

5. Most importantly.....This raises the bar for expectations with EMU football.

Congrats to the program! The Seniors certainly deserve 1 last game for all their hard work and dedication.

I was reading some articles on Pitt's site an they are not thrilled for this game. I LOVE it. They wanted something bigger. Im confident our guys will give them a fight
