He's back. The Jimmy Swaggart thread fizzled, on to the next fishing expedition.

Au contraire. I’ll support whoever is hired....as long as they win.

It’s just business and Norvell needs to disappear

Why did you have to start a new thread to voice your opinion? Are you too good to contribute to an already existing one?

Fishing again, as usual....

“Ooh! Ohh! Look at me! I’m more important than you slobs!”

Sounds like what Bo Schembeckler said about Bill Frieder when he left Michigan for Arizona St. The interim coach Steve Fisher took them to the title.

Also too good to check the titles on the main page list before jumping in and starting a thread, huh? What an elitist....

How about we let the players decide?

So, we dont need FSU's coach for the cotton bowl, but we need someone who has hookers on speed dial to be our coach going forward.

Not a miserable at all. Norvell did a good job. It’s over.

I’m ready for the next man up and will support him as long as he wins.

No reason to stroke an ex-coach’s ego and give his new employer free publicity

Even if you are trolling, you are 100% right on this one. The last 3 years he has spent every minute preparing us for our bowl game. Now a large chunk of his time is going to be focused on Florida State. Let Silverfield be the interim if we aren't going to give him the job outright and thank Norvell for everything he has done.

There is no reason for him to be on the sidelines in 3 weeks. Those 3 weeks will set us back for next year. Early signing period is on the 18th. Who is going to be recruiting for MEMPHIS during this time?

I totally agree that MN shouldn't coach the team in the Cotton Bowl...heck, he'll be too busy knocking down FSU recruits during the early signing period to really prepare this year's incredible Tiger football team.

It makes sense to allow Silverfield to coach'em during the interim while the decision is made on a permanent coach. Even if we make a solid hire within the next few days, Silverfield already knows the playbook, the players and would have the ability to keep the team focused on winning the Cotton Bowl.

I didn’t see a thread about Jimmy Swag. Must be in the religious forum.
