Haase did not do much better than Ehsan. Had Robert Brown not shown up he would have done worse than Ehsan.

Can you tell me how many OVC teams made the tourney last year? You’re simply wrong, we can do much better than Ehsan

RE: UAB vs Memphis - MBB 12/7/2019
We are part of the reason CUSA is a one bid league. Our RPI started dropping with Haase and has further dropped with Ehsan.

Ehsans first 3 years he averaged an RPI of 167. That's horrific. His first year was the worst year in program history by far with an RPI of 198. Mike Davis was fired during a 111 RPI year.

Haase averaged 128 in 4 years and that was bad enough.

Dont try to argue that a good coach couldn't stay near the 60s-80s and have a couple standout years possibly pulling off an at large because other CUSA teams are getting close to doing it. Just not enough CUSA teams are doing it to get us all out of the gutter as a league.

Dont lower your standards.

Edit: I also don't want it to sound like im just crapping on the program or the team. This year's team is playing really hard.

Memphis finished the game on a 16-2 run. UAB scored 2 points in the last five minutes of the game.

Ehsan should refund his salary and apologize for being so terrible

Comments like this should be an autoban at this point.

Sensitive much? Ehsan sucks

Am I sensitive to Blazer fans calling for the shutdown of one of our larger athletic programs after what we've been through in the last 4 years?

Sure.

I have not been a part of the "Fire Ehsan" discussion much, and I don't intend to be. That said, speaking of shutting down Coach Bartow's program shows a complete lack of seriousness. It's the brown stuff that falls out of the back end of a bull.

No true UAB fan will let such drivel pass his lips. It's complete nonsense, and it is indeed unacceptable.

You want to call for a coaching change? Fine. Fire away. You want to talk about shutting down the program, well, you can go piss up a rope.

You are far too kind and gently-spoken. That individual is beneath contempt.

Our guys played so damn hard. They deserve a better outcome. Unfortunately they get little help from our sideline.

We need someone to re-establish our program. This is not working.

I'll instruct Ehsan to instruct the players to not turn the ball over as much.

Turning it over seems to be apart of the Ehsan plan. He can’t fix it

What a ****** day for UAB athletics. At least basketball was fun for 85% of the game. I agree with the other poster that said the goal for this season hasn't changed. This team has the talent to make the NCAA or the NIT, anything less than that and the coach needs to go elsewhere.

It's evident to me that we have the talent to compete with most teams given how we played UK and Memphis. What's lacking is the coaching...No adjustments to handle the press/trap in the 2nd half and we run very few offensive sets other than a generic dribble drive weave.

The guys played very hard in the Memphis game (Benjamin especially) and I hate they couldn't pull it out. More support from the sidelines would've gotten it done. CUSA is bad so anything is possible in the conference tournament, but if Rob doesn't make the NCAA this year it's time for a new coach. Four years is long enough.

I do not care about high scoring offenses I just want to win! Period! If its ugly basketball or beautiful basketball I don't care I just want to win. The none response in that second half from our coaches was bad.

I tend to recall that the last few seasons everyone has been complaining about lack of defense.

I think most people are complaining about not winning. Keep defending less than mediocre results. The players deserve better.

And losing, and looking overall mediocre since Ehsan took over
