What did he do at Ole Miss that was impressive? His record was mediocre and he had to massively cheat to get recruits. Why would we insert that into our program right now? If this was the pre-Fuente program then maybe he would be worth the risk but we do not need him here, especially now...

Beat Bama 2 times in a row and nearly 3. Cheating is a way of life in the sec. He never got caught cheating. His assistants did and only because the kid from MS. State got immunity.

You’re a great poster and Tiger fan. I was just posting what I’ve heard from two very good sources. Maybe it doesn’t happen. There’s several coaches I’d be happy with. I just want them to hire another good one and keep it rolling.

His coaching record is irrelevant to me. Anyone who uses his authority/position over teenagers to order underage females to disrobe in front of him should not be considered in any capacity at the university. Never mind that he actually paddled an underage female. Arguably, that's sexual assault. I'm not sure what the Tennessee statute of limitations is..but the count begins after the victim turns 18.

I just can't imagine anyone wanting to go that route. That would feel like a huge step backward imo.

Anyone who believes Freeze had anything to do with dragging in those top recruiting classes is likely going in a fog. It was illegal booster money, first last & always.

The guy is not a good coach. Besides, if he was stupid enough to solicit hookers on a university phone instead of using a burner phone .. he’s too damn stupid to coach my Tigers.

Plus if Rudd was stupid enough to hire Freeze with the current NCAA "violations" looming over the basketball program, the NCAA would relocate to the UofM because he would be under the microscope instantly.

Keep in mind Rudd said no to Larry Brown because of his past. He's not about to take that risk with shady Freeze now.
