Fearless CCG Predictions ... Take to the Bank!
Caveat: I am betting exactly zero dollars on this stuff. I never bet on football, I'm smart enough to know I'm too dumb about it.

PAC

Everyone is wondering whether Utah can hold on and grab the 4th playoff spot if Georgia loses, but we'll never know because Oregon has too much offense and Utah's defense hasn't faced any challenges.

Oregon .... 31
Utah ........ 17

Big 12

I came away from the first meeting being a lot more impressed with Baylor than I was going in. Baylor will not screw the pooch again, dashing OU's playoff chances.

Baylor ......... 34
Oklahoma .... 21

SEC

Don't call it an upset. Georgia is really good. So what explains South Carolina? Hell I don't know. It's football. What I do know is that LSU's vaunted offense scored 23 points against an Auburn defense that probably isn't quite as good as Georgia's. And, Georgia has a really good offensive line. And, any game held in Atlanta is a Georgia home game.

Georgia ..... 28
LSU .......... 17

ACC

One likes to think one can think of something clever that nobody has thought of. But sometimes, as Freud said, a cigar is just a cigar, there's nothing there beyond the obvious. This game is every bit the mismatch we all think it is.

Clemson ...... 45
UVA ............ 10

B1G

Sometimes in a rematch game, the loser learns stuff that helps them win the second time around. All Wisconsin learned was that Ohio State is just too good for them, as they always are in these games.

Ohio State ..... 37
Wisconsin ...... 14

AAC

When I watched their first game, I thought it was close. On second thought, I think Memphis played a bit of cat-and-mouse with Cincy. Cincy hasn't looked good since October. Memphis looks like about the 17th best team in the country.

Memphis ...... 33
Cincy ........... 13

I'm seeing LSU winning by no less than 14.

Georgia is going to hold LSU to 17?? Right....

LSU will find their points in this game. The offense tears up college secondarys

The question IMO, is if Georgia can keep pace. Can Fromm step up from kind of a mediocre year and really keep pace.

It might be close for awhile, but if LSU takes the lead, Georgia has to be up for a shootout

I think LSU wins 45-21

I think OU wins again closely.
LSU is just better all around than Georgia. Wins a close one. All the talk about how UGA has the advantage being in the ccg for the 3rd time tells me they are lacking in confidence.
I think Clemson is thinking ahead. They only win by 2 TDs.
I definitely agree about Memphis winning, but don't think it will be that one-sided.

I think Oklahoma beats the heck out of Baylor. 24-0 2nd half @ Baylor. Plus CCG and most of Oklahoma guys have been there before. Baylor- not so much.

So what you are really saying is that once again when it's all over with tomorrow we will have proven one more time that no playoff expansion is really needed because most years there is clear separation between the top 4 schools, with arguably the 5th, and everyone else.

What's new?
