My Biggest Concerns
Dormady throwing picks, and our pass defense. I don't think our db coach has done a very good job. I would replace him. There isn't a Robert Jackson or Jimmy Bowman on the field (who were outstanding for CMU, the Bengals, and Pats respectfully)! Plus, I think there’s a lot of pressure on Martin to win this game, or he may be gone.

I'm more concerned about fumbles than Dormady throwing interceptions. We've coughed the ball up 23 times this year and lost 15 of them. It was the main reason we lost to Buffalo and got down to Ball State.

I've thought the secondary has been pretty good considering we're starting freshman and sophomore's at 3 of the 4 secondary spots.

Agree with this. Dormady has only five picks against 13 TDs and is averaging less than 1/game. We either lead the nation in fumbles lost or are close to it. 03-banghead We need to treat Ford Field as if it's a home game; I don't think we've turned it over at home in the past couple of games. This will be critical, because Miami has a solid defense and doesn't make a ton of mistakes. At least, not with Gabbert at QB.

As for our CBs, they started the season rough, sure, but they're all underclassmen. They'e improved as the year's gone on.

RE: My Biggest Concerns
I hate it when you are right CE.

Dormady did not have a very good day. Just didn’t play well, imo. Not the only reason CMU lost, but didn’t help.

Strangely, I didn’t detect a whole lot of energy from the team today at the game. Miami seemed to want it more.

Hope they are more inspired at their bowl game.

Yeah, we were just out of sync. That fake punt was the beginning of the end.

RE: My Biggest Concerns
Under no circumstances should a FRESHMAN QB out-perform a 5TH-YEAR SENIOR QB!

Couldn't agree more, Tic. We needed LeFevour's legs/instincts and Rush's arm.

RE: My Biggest Concerns
I was at a family gathering, so I didn't see the entire game, but from what I saw, penalties and special teams play really hurt us. I guess we just weren't ready for the "big game" yet. Hopefully, the team can rebound and play better in the bowl game.
