I personally am fine with UNCW. When anybody hears Charlotte, they think Charlotte NC. When people hear Wilmington, most think Wilmington Delaware. Who actually has a Wilmington College.

Yeah, I think that’s his point. I’m pretty sure, 70s like most of us would prefer a standard “UNCW” rather than the hodgepodge of names our Athletic Dept throws out there. I’m past the point of being mad at the media bc there are plenty of examples of our own Dept not even sticking with one style. Absolute incompetence at its finest.

I love "UNCW". The problem is nobody calls us that except us....and we don't even do that consistently.

The media outlets style books refer to "Charlotte" as "Charlotte" (Instead of UNC Charlotte) because Charlotte insists upon it. They would all refer to us a "UNCW" if we insisted - really insisted - upon it as well.

Charlotte is a whole lot tougher on both sides of the ball. They are having their way with us on defense.

I may leave at the half for the first time in my life. What an embarrassment. Down 27 before half time. We may be held to less than 30 for an entire game and they might still score 70.

I’ve tried to keep my negative thoughts off of the here but this is an embarrassment. I don’t see how CB survives to next year if this continues into CAA. We need to change. It’s a matter of when. This year or next. Decent chunk of change to buy him out with two years left but I think it’s going to be worth it.

The talent is there. Yes it’s young but it’s clear he’s over his head. I like the guy just like I liked Moss. I will gladly eat crow and hope I do.

Credit CLT with a smothering D. We have to make open shots, especially from 3 to keep them from sagging in. Plus Toews needs to give the ball up sooner, and Sims needs to stop trying too hard.

Tough break but might be a blessing in disguise. Take the medical RS and come back next year when the logjam at guard should be a bit cleared up.
