Never heard a word about Washington... LSU on the other hand... But LSU will not be opening up for several years it appears.

Washington & LSU are night & day different. I could understand LSU & FSU. Not to say Washington isn't a good FB school, beautiful campus, classy stadium & pretty good support - and with USC & UCLA down, he could win there. But the culture of Seattle is almost like a foreign country compared to Memphis, Baton Rouge & Tallahassee.

A lot of people forget that he was at Arizona State for so long, so the conference isn't an issue. Also, Washington is less of a cultural change from Arizona State, than Memphis was from Arizona State.

Also, with all of the arguments of having to go through Clemson in the ACC Atlantic and how tough the $EC West is; there isn't a single school in the PAC12 that is scary; not a single one.

Hard to believe Washington. He spoke about the most miserable game ever was at Corvallis with a start time of 11pm central and insanely cold temps. I just dont believe he's a fan of cold weather. And thats about as far away from family and inlaws as you can get.

Just for the record neither Corvallis & Seattle have very harsh winters - Memphis is a lot colder (& hotter) & usually has more snow.

Different but incredibly appealing, especially if you have a high paying job

Neither here or there get a lot of snow. Seattle gets more rainy days at about 155 a year, more than most cities. They do get a lot of forest fires so air quality is said to be the equivalent of smoking 7 cigarettes a day.

Many people are saying, the best minds have known this to be true. Seattle has the best forest fires.

Fires are not around Seattle. Most always north & east, meaning down wind. North Cascades- eastside has fires in dry years. Even when Mtn St Helen blew, all the volcanic ash went east sparing Seattle area of any damage. Corvallis is a little further east & might have air quality issues from fire in Oregon.

My son was just in Seattle this past Thanksgiving. Thought the place was a dirty smelly shithole. He went up there to visit his mother. Sanctuary city. bad idea. He said the entire downtown smelled like urine.

Possible from all the vagrants camped out in downtown area in recent years but Seattle metro is beautiful. Lived in the area for years, very few areas nicer.
