In the early 2000s when we were beginning to build a high level program and beating them, we had local/community support, university support, on par atmosphere, Richmond was a schithole and Norfolk was probably the better city, and there was no postseason run for VCU. We have a lot of work to do to compete. Being out-recruited by W&M is unimaginable. They have better academics and that is it... and I find that hard to believe that is a high determining factor for most recruits.
