Bama has no room to ***** about bad officiating.
I watched their national championship game a few years ago against Georgia with Big 10 referees.
The Big 10 refs made 5 really bad calls or no calls that all but handed Alabama that game.

It was a legit play call by Auburn and they were caught off-guard with 12 men in the field.

I know...but the play where they added a second to the clock and allowed Auburn to kick a field goal was 'questionable' at best.

Nick Saban is the best coach to ever coach the game. But he may go down the tough road.

He’s also a pretty powerful force in college football. If he doesn’t like the way something an opponent is doing to get the edge on his team, he gets the powers that be to change. Remember when the hurry up offense was used to catch a defense changing personnel? And the NCAA made the rule that the defense had to have an opportunity to change personnel. Saban was one of the main complainers.

What I do find humorous is that he’s mad that AU lobbied to check the replay and got a second added to the clock. He did the same thing a few years ago to get a second added to the clock at the end of the game, and the “kick six” now lives in infamy.

Its not really questionable as much as thats the rule. It is what it is.

Saban being butthurt and thinking they should have been allowed more time to get their correct defense on the field because they saw the punter run onto the field, then realize that the punter lined up as a receiver, is a joke.

In the NFL it is an automatic runoff if they review the play.

But I guess it was a dead ball because it was a first down so there is an argument to be had...But no way in hell they can run the field goal unit on the field before the ball is set.

Exactly...

You get to sub based on personnel not formations. He saw the personnel and got outwitted.
