It looks like the trainer was working on the lower part of James' leg checking both his shin and calf.

Either can be painful. Looks like the trainer didn't notice anything on the shin. Seems like he make have gotten hit on the calf, soft tissue. Trainer was rubbing it.

When I saw it live I thought first he knocked knees with a defender but it was obvious watching the trainer that it wasn't the knee.

Looked to me like they hit shin to shin07-coffee3 much like soccer07-coffee3

Slightly off topic, but Greg Kampe tweeted that there’s a verbal agreement to renew our home-and-home series with Oakland starting next season. Good. We should play Oakland and U of D every year.

Thanks for pointing that out, Sam. I hope Kampe means it.

Wanted to point out that the EMU-UD game is on Channel 38 WADL Detroit. An independent air station which is hard to get reception for, but is on Wowway cable channel 22/ 207. Not sure of other providers. I am not an espn+ subscriber, so I was happy to see this.

Valpo beat CMU by 22 today. They also beat Toledo earlier in the season. Further validating our win against them.

Wow, CMU returned Dileo, McKay and Montgomery along with a bunch of transfers. One game obviously can be an aberration, nevertheless this is good news as while I love our current team's demeanor, I still have reservations with respect to its potential.

Does anyone know if Gibson is definitely redshirted? Jerry and Sam, our defense is a 9, our offense's a 5, and our rebounding, and allowing open 3's is a 5! So, we just need to fine tune things! This team has the most depth in a decade at least! Shot selection, and constantly moving the ball is the key to competing in the MAC! I believe the Mac for basketball's considerably better then the last few years! No team as good as Buffalo, but Bowling Green, Kent St, and Buffalo are still very good! In the west Toledo probably has the most back!

Sam that's great news! Do you know if Valpo's leading scorer played against CMU? As you know, he didn't play against us.

Valpo’s leading scorer (Javon Freeman-Liberty) played against us, and has played all year. He’s one of the top scorers in the nation. They haven’t had one of their better players (Ryan Fazekas) for most of the season. I think that’s who you’re thinking of.

Yes he did. He scored nearly 30 points on us.

Yep my bad. I was thinking of Fazekas.
