No, it's not funny at all. It would be a usurpation of the electoral process and likely - in their minds at least - their only viable path to the WH. I don't see her in the WH even should that happen but you never know. In fact I think they would be shooting themselves in the foot with both barrels should they attempt this. I think she might rile up the conservative base and motivate them to turn out in record levels to vote against her like none of the other front runners could.

It doesn't matter WHO they try to install. That is not the point.

If you can charge one or both of the two main candidates with a major crime after it is too late to change the ballot, then you have a situation where electors are going to be released. If you can divide the electors enough not to elect anyone, it goes to the House.

The left believes they will hold the House.

If they can make this happen they can put in their own president.

Based on what we've seen so far, this should not be a surprise. It should be expected.
