I'm thinking he was trying to play 3 dimensional chess: put in Johnson, thinking UTEP would play run, and maybe a chance for a big pass play.

It would have been a big play had he gotten it just a little closer to the receiver.

Stewart looked good on the last drive, both with his decision to run and going through progressions on the 5 yd completion to Rozner.

Locksley looks like an elite running back.

I don't know if that was bad play calling, bad execution, or both, but it sure was bad.
