Yep & he'll now be lucky to get a high level coordinator job if true. Just another example of a coach taking a job where it is difficult to win but where expectations aren't realistic & you get fired after a few years. Perfect example of why Norvell should not take a mid-level P5 job.

I'm not sure how much of the .500 record is on Odom, and how much of it was a residual effect of the toxicity the university allowed to boil up. No other coach would touch the job at the time, and Mizzu was lucky to have Odom as an alumni who wanted the job. The SJW;s killed that school. The hoax hate crimes were allowed to go unchallenged, and this is what you end up with.

I’d imagine he slides right in as Virginia Techs new DC

he walked into a toxic situation so that first 4-8 season is understandable. after that his record is:

7-6 Texas Bowl Loss
8-5 Liberty Bowl Loss
6-6 (fired before bowl)

I could easily see him being a HC again.

T'is the loyalty of the college coaching fraternity. Both in football and basketball. (The kind, incidentally, that Penny has crashed by not being indebted to anyone currently in the profession).

I wanted Odom sadly to say...imo Memphis is a school who needs an offensive minded coach with some connections in the recruiting world.

Missouri is on probation he was not going to a bowl game. They appealed bowl ban and were denied

The issue that Missouri may be about to find out is that they can do A LOT worse than what Barry Odom has done.

It remains to be seen how he tries to screw us with Norvell - what could happen is Tigers get Cotton Bowl invite to play Baylor...
Then during bowl week Baylor negotiates with Sexton to replace Matt Rhule who has privately told Baylor he has accepted New York Giants head coaching offer.

We won against him with Mcelwain as well. McElwains butt was sitting at an airport waiting for a jet to come pick him up only to learn that the jet was sent to Fuente.
