What's bigoted about a dynamic that does in fact exist? Some of you just look for reasons to be offended. MANY black people do in fact hate white people just as many white people hate blacks. Is one more bigoted than the other? Or am I simply bigoted for observing that?

Some are so hypnotized by political correctness that they reject the truth.

400 years of forced labor, rape, intimidation, murder, deprivation of education, and for those black folks that actually became self sufficient, SOME white people TOOK their land and property and made them sharecroppers. This practice continued well intoe the 20th century.

And now SOME white people act like SOME in the white race had no part in the current plight of MANY black folks in this country.

There will be some of you who say, well that was a long time ago. You can't correct 400 years of torture and miseducation with 57 years of government intervention. It might take another 350 years.

And for those who say, well, Africans sold SOME of the Africans to slave traders, it takes two parties to make a deal. If someone tried to sell you a 12 year old girl right now, would you buy her? Two wrongs don't make a right.

Do you happen to have a 22 year old in your bag Santa?

I don't expect some of you to appreciate what was written. Responding to a prior post. What was written is true. There's no speculation or hyperbole involved.

Apparently not. In the case of some posters, they've never existed at all.

You wanna know what's different about Memphis...well I'll tell ya.

There's folks in all walks of life there who aim to work together, no matter what their differences or beliefs might be. Pointing to our differences will keep us stuck. Even when we point to those who point, it will keep us stuck. This discussion will go till the emotion runs down and get no where, imo.

Truth is, Memphis is so lucky --we have music, sports and the university-- three major focuses that bring us all together.
