Statement from Ole Miss says discipline will be handled internally. I suspect that means the player will be running stadiums until he no longer feels the urge to go on the field.

I have no dog in the hunt so I loved it. Just like the Kick 6, money signs, or planting the flag it's just another wrinkle in the legend of a rivalry. If I was an Ole Miss fan though...woo I'd be hot.

I agree with you. The funny thing is you know he had to be thinking about that move all week. He also probably talked to other players about it. Makes you wonder how many on the team told him that was going to be great.

Crap like that is what makes rivalries and make them worth showing up for, if you are a fan. No matter what your teams record is.

I've read dumb butts saying the coach should be fired. The school put on probation and a few other stupid comments in that line of thought. While it cost his team a shot at a win....

some of the head shots and late hits and trying to take players eyes out. Get the same 15 yards as this stupid but well planned act after a TD. The only thing that would have made it better...

Honestly, kicker should have made the kick. 35 yarder is a pretty standard kick for most college kickers. Was it appropriate? No. Could he have chosen a better time? You bet. Is it a rivalry game? Oh yeah. And if they make the kick, State fans are talking about how classless OM is while OM fans are laughing that their player did that. I just don’t see the big deal.

I just don't like the theatrics. Act like you've been there before. Every time some idiot starts showboating and loses the ball on the 3 yard line I smile. Well deserved.

Yeah, the kicker should have made it anyway. But every yard of distance just makes it harder, and 15 yards of distance changes it from from about a 98% chance to about a 65% chance. Plus, this kicker had already missed 3 or 4 XPs this season. I think the receiver should have known that.

Bad sportsmanship should have a consequence. I think the 15 yards is too little.

Glad to see this crassness is punished, but I feel sorry for the rest of the team. This fool tried to put an "I" in team.

He didn't miss that kick. Karma blocked it. LOL! That might make them even for that '83 wind-blocked-kick-win for Ole Miss.

That's not the first time that that lift-the-leg-celebration-and-then-flagged, had been done. Be original or act like you've been there.
