Rice overcomes a horrifically bad 1st quarter and now has a 33-27 halftime lead. Nancy Mulkey did not play in the 1st half.

Rice begins the 2nd half with a 5-0 run as McState misses all four shots attempted.

Owls torch the Cowgirls 25-7 in the third quarter. Score at the end of 3 is 58-34. McNeese scored one FG (a 3 ptr) in the entire quarter.

Except Nancy. Anyone know why she didn’t play?

Nice to see that Rice had only 10 turnovers. Lowest of the season.

I just suspect there will be games where they limit her participation to keep her fresh for other games. I think her back has been an issue lately? I also think Bellamy and Jackson will continue to get more and more minutes as the season continues.

I was at Wednesday's game.

A Rice staffer, when asked why Mulkey didn't make the trip, simply replied, "She didn't feel well."
