We're going to need the wind to die down tomorrow - not much passing goign to happen in MI if this holds up.

After we lost to Miami, I said in another thread this was the only winnable game we had left. I also said we’d win this in a shootout and still think that’s the case. Neither team can stop the run so look for Matthews and Williams to put up big numbers. We leave Ypsilanti with a 44-41 win.

Probably depends a lot on the weather.

Of course I want then to come out and play like a team hungry for a bowl bid, but something tells me even a big W today still has us on the outside looking in because of the history of our program and lack of draw.

That was a crazy 5 minutes. Wonder who will get to 60 first?

The defense seems to make it hard on themselves the past couple weeks.

Woa, did anyone else see Glass kick the defender in the helmet after the tackle on the run right before the TD?

How we finished the first half was huge. Get a FG with under 2 to take the lead. Pick it off with 41 seconds left and score a TD in about 30 seconds. Now we start the second half with the ball. EMU could find themselves with a 17 point deficit the next time they touch it in what's been a pretty even game.

Seriously, that fake punt puts EMU back in it! AAHHH!!

Great. Missed FG now gives it over to our defense. Should've punted.

Absolutely pathetic camera work. Two huge penalties on our secondary in the second half and we can't even get a replay of either.

Nice job to hang in there when they could’ve folded like past years. Kudos to Lewis and crew for doing what’s right and sitting down key players regardless of how it could’ve caused the folding that much easier. Hoping this was a galvanizing experience that makes this program turn the corner.

Exactly - enjoyed watching the team play and show passion over what could have been a collapse after UT loss. Great job by Head Coach Lewis, staff and players - now let's get some butts in the seats next season.
