Reece needs to be a guy that plays a ton of minutes moving forward. If he gains confidence, he will be a guy that can help put the ball in the basket. Kalu and Dickens minutes need to be reduced. It is so obvious at this point! I think Jeff is seeing it too.

X gets destroyed off the bounce all the time. Even by slow players.

Didn't expect a 4 game losing stretch, including a 0-3 tourney.

Couldn't win a single game in one of the most mediocre tournaments there is, that is pretty sad.

Only bright spot was the team didn't quit and Joe Reece is improving. The turns-overs and fouls killed us once again.

Will we win 10 games this year?

I stand by what I said. This team will improve down the stretch and will be ready for the conference tournament.

Yes. We may win 20. You forget how bad CUSA is.

We will also probably only be good enough for the middle CUSA pod, which means more wins against easier opponents.

I think at best we will win 15. We have no inside game and of course our outside shooting is suspect. I doubt we are better than 4 or 5 CUSA teams and will lose to W&M, VCU, Richmond and Illinois. Tough to find 15 wins.

Our lack of an inside scorer is killing the entire offense. No team is collapsing on us when we do get the ball in the post. When we do throw the ball in the paint the opposing team just locks down even more on our shooters. Therefore, nobody is open. We will struggle to get 55 points against everyone if our bigs don’t figure out how to score. Maybe Reece playing the 4 some will open it up a little. He at least seems to be aggressive looking to get a shot.

As much as I like Carver, it’s much like watching our offense struggle when Denzel Taylor played. Carver had the ball on a couple of possessions from about 10 feet. There wasn’t anyone within 5 feet of him and he is looking to pass. Who are you going to throw it to? We really need 5 guys that would at try to score.

Our interior defense isn't much better.

And we foul way too much. We need a big body transfer for next year.

I sorta compared AC to Dennis Rodman with the Pistons. Rebound and defense....NO SCORING! The only problem is we don't have scorers and the Pistons did. So what do you do? Continue to play AC and deprive a already weak scoring team even more or start someone else with more scoring capabilities and deprive an already weak rebounding front court???
