In all honesty it is hard for me to see this team winning more that 2 more games.....heck they are more likely to win no more games than win 5 more games.

I think 5 wins in CAA play would be an absolute miracle. They aren't just losing to CAA teams, they're getting blown out.
I didn't think they'd be much better than last year, but I did think they would a little better. In fact they are playing worse and losing by more.
There's no way to spin this. This team was supposed to be better and some people actually thought we were good enough to be in the top 4 in the league. Even the preseason CAA predictions had JMU placing 4th and 3 writers were stupid enough to give them 1st place votes.
When are people going to learn????

I would hate to fire LR before the CAAT but if the state of Virginia requires JMU to post a job for two or three weeks before the position can be filled plus we all know JB and CK will hire a search firm to assist in the coaching search - given these variables I would fire LR now so we can start the search process and get a significant jump start on the other schools. It would be great to sign a coach before the start of NCAAT.

Agreed. I think we need to let go of Lou asap. Love him to death, but it's time. There's nothing he can do to redeem this season.

At this point we're back to Keener levels of awful. Losing to Elon by nearly double digits... Getting blown out at one point.

Elon is abysmal and they killed us. UNCW is probably going to beat us at home after their coaching change. There's absolutely no excuse for this. We are going to finish dead last after being projected in the top 4. Time to cut our losses, get a jump on hiring the new coach, and maybe get the guys some in game experience under a different HC.

Just because the admin didn't want to cut him after last year doesn't mean they have to continue to make the same mistake. Every game under LR is a game going in the wrong direction.

Time for a bump after watching the first 12 minutes of JMU-Drexel.

I saw better team basketball playing intramurals in Godwin as an undergrad. In fact one of the best teams was Warren Marshall, Charles Haley and Eriq Green's team.

Our admin should be thoroughly embarrassed at how bad our program is in large part due to their ineptness.
